Contemporary Landscapes Inspired by the Concept of Oneness

This is a contemporary/conceptual landscape based on the idea that the world is really made up of atoms and that all forms are illusions. This is not only the basic premise of Quantum Physics but also resonates with the ancient Indian philosophy of Advaita, which asserts that like the dots of this painting, like the drops in an ocean, we are all a part of the bigger picture, essentially one with all there is. Our individuality rises and falls within this paradigm. We are one.

This painting, like others in this series, celebrates the idea of Oneness—between things, and self and world. Thepainting depicts a landscape with mountains receding into the distance and a field of yellow flowers in the foreground against a thunderous sky. Oil paint is applied as dots of varying sizes, allowing the image to emerge through accumulation rather than outline.
